Development History of Micro Hyperbaric Oxygen Chambers

Hyperbaric oxygen therapy in my country has a 60-year history since its establishment in 1964, experiencing several stages.

The difference between a hyperbaric oxygen chamber (medical) and a micro-hyperbaric oxygen chamber (civilian).

Civilian hyperbaric oxygen chambers have a pressure (1.1-1.3 atmospheres) and oxygen concentration slightly higher than normal atmospheric pressure but lower than medical chambers. They are more tolerable to the human body and have a wider range of applications.

Benefits of oxygen inhalation to the human body

Oxygen helps improve sleep, oxygen helps relieve fatigue, and oxygen helps beautify and brighten the skin.

Miniature Oxygen Generator Product Introduction

This small oxygen generator utilizes advanced oxygen production technology to produce high-purity oxygen. Its compact size makes it easy to move and suitable for various environments such as homes, medical facilities, and offices.

Hyperbaric oxygen therapy in my country has a 60-year history since its establishment in 1964, experiencing several stages.

**Initial Stage (1964-1973)**

In 1964, Professor Li Wenren of Fujian established my country's first hyperbaric oxygen chamber, successfully performing surgical treatments for congenital cardiovascular diseases within the chamber. In May 1973, the National Health Ministry hosted the China Hyperbaric Oxygen Chamber Technology Appraisal and Academic Exchange Conference at the Second Affiliated Hospital of Zhejiang University School of Medicine in Hangzhou. At that time, Professor Bao Yongshan of the Second Affiliated Hospital of Zhejiang University School of Medicine had already established a large-scale medical hyperbaric oxygen chamber with one chamber, two rooms, and four doors, and was conducting hyperbaric oxygen therapy for acute and chronic ischemic and hypoxic diseases.

**Stable Development Stage (2001-Present)**

Hyperbaric oxygen therapy in my country plays a significant role in war, natural disasters, coal mine accidents, and public health, making China a veritable leader in hyperbaric oxygen therapy. Twenty years ago, hyperbaric oxygen chambers were built across the country, but most were pure oxygen chambers with generally small capacities. Today, newly built hyperbaric oxygen chambers mostly utilize air-pressurized chambers, and multi-chamber, interconnected yet independent hyperbaric oxygen chamber complexes have become the mainstream, representing a significant leap in both scale and technological sophistication. In 2005, the standard for "Medical Air-Pressurized Oxygen Chambers" (GBT12130-2005) was released, further standardizing industry production.

In 2020, the hyperbaric oxygen therapy industry in China entered a golden age of development:

With the global pandemic and the increasing aging population, anti-aging and health have become among the most deeply discussed topics worldwide. Big data analysis shows that the focus on anti-aging and health has shifted from the middle-aged and elderly to younger people over 29, and the number of people using hyperbaric oxygen therapy daily is also increasing towards those around 30 years old and above. User demand is determining the industry's development direction. First- and second-tier cities with stable economies have become the main hubs for hyperbaric oxygen therapy projects, such as Beijing, Shanghai, Hangzhou, Chengdu, Zhengzhou, Xi'an, Shenzhen, Guangzhou, Chongqing, and Changsha. With the development of business models, hyperbaric oxygen therapy projects are also expanding to third- and fourth-tier cities. The increasing popularity of hyperbaric oxygen therapy for civilian use will bring the next wave of benefits to the health industry.
